This program is aimed at people over 14 years of age who want to build a career in the field, increase their chances of employment or pupils and students who want to develop their personal knowledge in the field of video game development. GameDev Academy courses do not replace but supplement school, university or professional work.
The registration process consists of completing the form on the page dedicated to the course. Due to the limited number of places it is very important to register for the course as soon as possible.
In 48-72 hours you will be contacted by phone to set up a discussion with one of the GameDev Academy trainers. This discussion is important as it helps us assess whether or not the course is right for you. We note that there is a risk that our emails end up in the "SPAM" folder. Please check this folder as well.
In the confirmation email of participation in the GameDev Academy course, you will receive the payment details. Depending on the chosen payment method, this can be done by bank transfer, based on the tax invoice issued by GameDev Academy, or directly on the website based on the link received in the email. For most of our courses or programs, you can choose to pay in installments.
The days and times will be discussed with the course trainer.

The course involves physical or online presence, usually twice a week.

Each course session has an approximate duration of 2 hours.

The curriculum is composed of theoretical and practical modules, and all the programs necessary for the course sessions will be communicated by the trainer within the group.

At the end of the course you will receive a knowledge assessment test.

Apart from the mandatory sessions, learners can interact online with peers and teachers whenever needed on our Discord channel.
Of course! We have a positive track record of trainees being employed shortly after completing the courses they have attended. However, we cannot offer guarantees! We are in constant dialogue with different studios in Romania to offer internship programs or employment support. We also offer consultancy in creating your CV and portfolio.

We can't repeat it enough times! It is very important to develop a portfolio, practice in your free time, be proactive in class, ask questions every time you feel that something is not clear to you. And we insist on "practicing in your spare time" :).
Yes, you will receive a certificate of participation, issued by us, certifying your participation in the program. In addition to the diploma, you will also receive the result obtained in the final exam. Keep in mind that you will not receive a certificate of participation if you accumulate more than 5 absences from the course.

We mention that diplomas certified by the Romanian state cannot be issued for many specializations specific to this field of activity, because the vast majority of these trades specific to the game development industry are not officially recognized in Romania (they do not have a COR code).
